AltairAI Terms of Service

1. The Service

AltairAI is an AI-powered interface that connects to your internal systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). We provide the “Intelligence Layer,” but you provide the data. We are not responsible for the accuracy of the data within your ERP systems.

2. Intellectual Property & Ownership

• Your Data: You retain all rights to the data you input and the API schemas you upload.
• AI Output: You own the Output (the answers and reports generated by AltairAI). We assign all rights in the Output to you.
• Our IP: We retain all rights to the AltairAI “Reasoning Engine,” the “Dynamic Ingestion” algorithms, and the underlying platform code.

3. AI Accuracy & “Hallucinations”

Artificial Intelligence is probabilistic, not deterministic. While AltairAI is grounded in your real-time data:

• No Warranty of Accuracy: You acknowledge that the Service may occasionally generate incorrect or misleading information (“hallucinations”).
• Human in the Loop: You agree that for critical business decisions (financial transfers, legal approvals), a human will review the AI’s output. AltairAI is an assistant, not a decision-maker.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use AltairAI to generate illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content.
• Attempt to “jailbreak” or reverse-engineer the prompt injection protections.
• Upload API schemas that expose sensitive personal data (PII) without proper encryption.

5. Liability Cap

• Indirect Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by law, AltairAI shall not be liable for lost profits, data loss, or business interruption resulting from an AI error.
• Cap: Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
